Employee Benefits

Your Health

FITCE is committed to providing employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week with a benefits program that is both comprehensive and competitive. Eligibility for benefits is the first of the month following date of hire.

Medical coverage is through a PPO or a high-deductible plan with an HSA, and includes a wide range of doctor's visits, hospitalization, and prescription coverage. Currently, FITCE contributes $100 per month towards the HSA which is pro-rated for new hires (this is subject to change). Preventative care doctor's visits are covered at no cost.

We offer Dental and Vision coverage as well. Dental coverage is a DPPO and routine dental maintenance is little to no cost for employees and dependents.

At no cost to you, you are eligible for long-term disability coverage, which provides 60% of your income if you are disabled for more than 13 weeks, to a maximum of $10,000 per month. You may also purchase short-term disability benefits (not available in California) to provide 60% of your income if you are disabled for up to 13 weeks, to a maximum of $1,250 per week.

Flexible Spending Accounts are an excellent way to put aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare and daycare out-of-pocket expenses, thus providing you an income tax benefit. FITCE provides both Health Care (up to $2,550) and Dependent Care (up to $5,000) accounts for employee to contribute. We also offer the convenience of a debit card to pay for eligible healthcare expenses.

Because there are many other issues that may affect you and your family, we offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which provides an abundance of services at no cost to you. You may access assistance with personal issues, financial planning, childcare and eldercare concerns, and even help with finding pet care. And there's legal assistance and guidance on getting fit and healthy too.

In addition to an extensive offering of health benefits, FITCE will reimburse you for your eligible health/fitness activities. You may receive 80% off the cost (to a maximum of $40) of a monthly membership to a health/fitness club. We also have relationships with local gyms for discounted memberships.

It is important to FITCE that all of our employees have the opportunity to grow professionally and to continually improve and enhance their job skills. We will work with you to develop a plan for growth. As a FITCE employee, based on consultation with your manager, you may:
